90 Points Robert Parker
A delicious white Burgundy from Domaine Roger Belland, the 2012 Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Clos Pitois had a clean, fresh nose with a strong marine influence – cockleshells and shucked oysters. The palate is taut and crisp with grapefruit and citrus peel on the entry, merging with attractive flinty notes on the finish, as if it took a (welcome) detour to the Mosel! Very fine.
