Bright, medium-yellow colour. At first sniff, the bouquet reveals oak, which is just a little domineering. The palate is certainly rich and full within Chablis context, with very appealing flavours, including vanilla and malt derived from oak. Good wine, but needs more time for the oak to integrate further - although after nine years I wonder if it wasn't a touch over-oaked. Very good richness, palate harmony and length.
