Deep red colour with good purple tinges; the bouquet is ripe and blackberry-like, clean and appealing. It's intense and medium to full-bodied, with ample soft, ripe tannins, a core of fruit-sweetness balanced by a savoury finish, and lovely balance. Shiraz helps soften and fill out the palate. A very good cabernet-driven blend, and top value.
