93 Points James Halliday
Often my go-to wine when lost in a bottle shop, this boasts a degree of extraction that smacks of expertise, ably imbuing this medium-bodied wine with a savoury tension, while acknowledging a commercial positioning of earlyish drinkability. Cabernet's tattoo is apparent across a swathe of blackcurrant and a tail of bay leaf, while the shiraz imparts a violet lift and an undercurrent of pepper; the merlot some jelly in the doughnut. Delicious. Drink to 2027.
