91 Points Robert Parker
The 2009 Chianti Classico Riserva is a plush and fleshy Sangiovese-based wine with enough spice, leather and tobacco to uphold the bright fruit and cassis that is the motor that drives it forward. Panzano in Chianti produces some of the best fruit in the appellation and this wine does a great job of showing that. Anticipated maturity: 2014-2022.
