88 Points Robert Parker
The dark ruby-colored 2002 Shiraz reveals a gorgeous bouquet of creamy oak, melted asphalt, blackberries, and a notion of wood. While some jagged tannin is noticeable, and the finish is shorter than in previous vintages, this is a good wine to drink over the next 5-6 years.

96 Points James Halliday
Elegant, medium-bodied; excellent texture and structure; fine, intense black fruits, no hint of alcohol heat; integrated oak, long, lingering finish. Drink to 2017.
