Huon Hooke
Deep red with purple tints. Pippy and preserved plum aromas. Rather raw and prune-like scents exhibiting high ripeness, with a slightly aggressive and raw palate taste as well. It needs food.

Bright purple hue; a vibrant and expressive bouquet of blueberry, blackberry, liqueur soaked plums and toasty oak; the medium-bodied and richly fruited palate is generous, and finishes with savoury flavours of roasted meat and licorice; big boned red wine, done well. Drink to 2020.
