Vibrant and bright cherry red. Dark cherry, bresaola and crushed rose-petal aromatics. Light to medium weight: there’s a sense of a veil here hiding its identity. Takes time to reveal bright red berry fruit and undertones of curing meats and dry mountain herbs. A fine wine with great balance

A combination of tension and power, bright aromatics and brooding length. It's like a feature film in the way it saws through various moods and fancies. Mineral, graphite, clove, cream, black cherry and the darker, roasted side of woodsy spices; all these flavours make important contributions, as does firm, detailed tannin. Drink to 2030.
