Deep red/purple colour; excellent hue. Clean, ripe, sound aroma, with anise, spices, flowers and all manner of interesting scents and flavours. A hint of oak char. Full-bodied, deep and firm in the mouth, with a touch of edginess to the tannins, quite powerful and very dense. Lush flavour followed by a firm grip. Impressive stuff and has a big future.
