At this moderate alcohol level (for Heathcote) it is not surprising to find a fragrant, medium-bodied wine with blackberry and black cherry fruit sustained by fine tannins; a long and harmonious finish. Drink to 2024.

A multi-clone (hence MC) block was hand-picked, open-fermented and plunged, basket-pressed and matured in new and used French and American oak. Good colour for the vintage; it has blackberry and black cherry fruit, augmented by oak and soft tannins. A good outcome. Drink to 2021.
