Always one of the best wines in the Remoissenet portfolio and this '99 is no exception. Sweet and thick on the nose with obvious notes of wet stones and citrus peel together with decently concentrated flavors that show better detail and precision than any of the foregoing wines. While this is not especially intense, it is delicious and quite broad shouldered and has just enough acidity to avoid heaviness. To drink relatively early, especially for Corton-Charlemagne. Drink to 2005+.
