Deepish red with a trace of purple, but the colour is much less impressive than the same winery's Single Vineyard Shiraz 2017. The bouquet is herbal and earthy, with traces of plum jam and a smoky, char overtone and a less-elegant palate flavour and structure. There is weight and grip and alcohol warmth. A big mouthful of shiraz, which is good value at the price.
