(Barossa Valley & Eden Valley) Deep, concentrated purple/red hue with a rich, ripe aroma of violets, blackberry and hints of spice and background sooty and earthy notes. The wine is intense and bright, with rich sweet fruit on the mid-palate backed up by strong but supple tannins. Very long carry. A most impressive shiraz, the high and low country components fitting together seamlessly.
