As is often the case, this is much more restrained with marked cool but beguilingly complex aromas of red currant, plum, stone and soft earth nuances. The intensely mineral-driven medium-bodied flavors display excellent delineation and plenty of that wonderful quality of tension on the balanced, linear and utterly delicious finish. This is an ultra-fine wine of crystalline purity and if it can add depth in bottle my score will definitely be on the conservative side. Drink to 2020+.
