91 Points Robert Parker
The 2010 Barolo Gattera shows austerity and a dry, streamlined style. The fruit here is rich and dark with blackberry, prune and plum in prime positioning. The bouquet also delivers dry earth and crushed mineral. Dry oak tannins are prominent. The wine begins to show better focus and sophistication after a few minutes of aeration.
