95 Points James Halliday
The fruit is effortless, the tannin is sturdy, the finish is long and satisfying. Blackcurrant, violet, mint and cedar wood characters combine to form a classic whole. The reputation of Black Label cabernet precedes it but this is an excellent version. It's medium in weight but it has torque, grip and acceleration. It takes the palate on; not to mention the future. Drink to 2040.

Very deep, bold red/purple colour, youthful and fresh, as is the bouquet. There are intense, fresh, vibrant ripe blackberry and blackcurrant cabernet aromas galore and oak takes a back-seat. A very smart, elegant, intense and tidily-constructed cabernet. It shouts "Coonawarra." Drink 2019 - 2039.
