96 Points James Halliday
Pure, glorious cabernet. If you've gone away from the variety, this will make you come rushing back. If you never left, a smug smile will likely appear. Redcurrant and blackcurrant, violets, cedar wood, peppercorns, tobacco; there are many quality cabernet markers here, strong arms of tannin among them, but mostly it's about respect for the variety, for the position of the long-lived red, for the Clarendon district and for powerful red wine, full stop, pure and majestic.
