Deep, dark, dense red colour with a tinge of purple. The bouquet is concentrated plum and spice, with an overlay of regional coal-dusty earthiness. In the mouth, it has concentration and power, the graphite and coal-dusty flavours are there, and are very regional. The wine is rich and lush with a deep fruit-sweet middle and gorgeous plushness. A delicious wine of long-term potential. Drink 2018 - 2039.
