Deep purple/red colour, a very good hue. The bouquet has some spicy and meaty charcuterie overtones, and there are soft, fine tannins on the medium-bodied palate. It’s bright, fresh and primary, begging for time to build more character. Plain plummy flavours and fresh acidity to close. (Aged in a single old French oak foudre. 165 dozen. For release April 2020)
