Medium to light red/purple colour, bright and fresh. The bouquet showing smoky oak and brown spice aromas, the palate following on with good intensity and focus, firm and upright, with ample supple tannins and good persistence. Serious pinot flavours and weight, the aftertaste powering on long after the wine has left. Excellent pinot, and worthwhile cellaring.
