60+yo vines, matured in 100% new American oak. The back label of this and its Martins Vineyard sibling describe the fruit as red. Try as I might, I couldn't get past black fruits, licorice and a thick vanillan coating of American oak. Like its sibling, has a life that will ultimately depend on the Diam cork. Drink to 2056.
