Huon Hooke
Deep purple red, very good colour. Clean aromas; a bit nondescript, but opened a bit later. Palate very intense and firm, a bit tough - no faults, but tannins are a bit hard, and nose is too shy at this point. The structure is lean and linear, intense and fine, and very elegant.

95 Points James Halliday
A powerful medium- to full-bodied wine, with waves of black fruits, ripe, savoury tannins and good oak. One of the best Frankland Estate red wine made to date, and will age superbly. Drink to 2027.
