95 Points James Halliday
Don't let the alcohol reading turn you off. This presents a pretty face to the world, is rich with red berried fruit, uses oak to seductive effect, and sings cleanly - and beautifully - through the finish, taking its alcohol in its stride. It's not a particularly 'dark' wine, in its berries or colour, but it's definitely a head turner. Drink to 2034.
