Medium to deep red colour with a faint trace of purple. The bouquet shows red licorice, aniseed, very appealing if not especially complex, with a trace of chocolate on the palate, which is medium to full-bodied and approachable now, with just a light sprinkle of soft tannins. Lovely depth of fruit-sweet and spicy flavours. Long palate. A fresh, clean, fruit-driven wine that drinks very well young and will keep for several years.
