A very primary, unevolved young pinot noir in an elegant vein. Delicately perfumed raspberry, rhubarb, musky florals and gentle spice meet the nose. It's light, fresh and silky in texture, with enough structure for balance, and a haunting delicacy of perfume that lingers long on the aftertaste. Very good now, but will be better in a year or two

Good energy and vibrancy here, felt across the palate. It starts out with requisite sweet cherry and pips, tangy plums, too, folded into the savouriness of cedary oak, cinnamon and aniseed. The tannins are textural, the acidity is charged and it's as juicy as all get-out. Drink to 2029.
