Palish hue. Very clean and pure but restrained and closed aroma. Mineral rather than fruity: there are slaty, rocky sorts of nuances. The wine is off-dry, and yet the sweetness only just maintains the balance with the acidity, which is quite fierce. It is a very good wine, crystalline and surely a little bottle-age will soften it up. Otherwise, serve it with food. (41 grams per litre sweetness)
