The 12th vintage of Duck Muck. A miniscule volume was bottled, 992 bottles in fact. Dark red at its core, it
presents immediate aromas of red fruit compote, blackberries, mocha and black bean. Complex is an understatement. Duck
Muck has been on an upward trajectory in the last few releases. Understated, and just a little closed in its youth. There is
sweet fruit on the mid-palate, with graphite, tar and wild herbs... the balance is a standout. The palate is velvety and fleshy,
hints of Cabernet bursting through, with black tea like tannin and notes of pepper. No doubt this is a muscular wine, but
impeccable balance is a feature. Its dry, vibrant, and sings complexity. Matured in 100% new French oak barriques for 25
months. Suggested best drinking from 2024 to 2035+. 16.1% Vol. Only 992 bottles and a few magnums made, the smallest volume since 1997.
