Deepish red/purple colour; youthful. The bouquet is oak-dominated. Any pinot fruit there has been overshadowed by the barrels. The palate has quite good intensity, vitality and freshness, albeit undercut by a twinge of obvious acidity. Ample, soft tannins fill in the texture on the finish. Time may help the oak balance, but I'm not convinced.
