Huon Hooke
Medium-depth ruby colour with traces of purple and brick in the rim; the aromas are complex and summon forest-floor/undergrowth, mushrooms, smoky charcuterie and grape-stem vegetal notes. Evidence of whole-bunch ferment. The palate is medium bodied and quite intense, with abundant fine, supple, powdery tannins backing up. There is power, length and super-satisfying aftertaste.

90 Points James Halliday
A light rendition yet austere style this vintage. Herbaceous with autumnal aromas, spiced cherries and tangy blood orange. Definitely refreshing. Definitely needs fatty food. Drink to 2031.
