Medium to full red-purple; luscious, deep, dark berry/blackcurrant aromas flow into a blackcurrant and cassis-flavoured palate. The wine has good structure thanks to clearly defined but ripe tannins, and will (by the standards of Pyrus) be long lived. Drink to 2013.
