Huon Hooke
Palish colour with a discreet, shy, peppery aroma, a hint of radish, a twist of mandarin but not especially floral/aromatic, while the palate is dry and textural with a touch of phenolics and piercing intensity and length. There is bright and searing acidity underneath. It's more about texture than anything else. Very good, and will certainly reward cellaring. (A Dan Murphy's exclusive bottling)
