Deep-ish red with a good tint of purple, the bouquet is a touch reticent but has appealing grenachey armas of browned spices, dried herbs, leather and machine-oil, while the palate provides plush texture and layered flavours of sweetly ripe berry fruits, dried spices and herbs, and an earthy savouriness. The tannins are ample but soft and smoothly rounded. Lovely balance.
