Perhaps it's just the mental suggestion from the name but in 2011 there actually are scents of raspberries and cherries along with subtle warm earth nuances. There is good detail and a touch of minerality to the firm but not hard light weight flavors that possess good character on the linear finish. This is really quite pretty aromatically but the mid-palate could use a year or two of bottle age to flesh out further. Drink to 2014+.
