97 Points James Halliday
So the premium chardonnay has its mojo back. Excellent news. Tightly focused with pristine fruit of sliced lemon, white peach, powdered ginger, sea spray and umami/nougatine lees, creamy, too, with the oak superbly integrated. Complex, detailed and flavoursome with chalky acidity that corrals all those flavours in obedience finishing long and pure. What a wine. Drink 2023 - 2035.
