93 Points Misc
A blend of fruit from Margaret River, Coonawarra and Frankland River. Here the stellar fruit sources show in its concentrated flavours of blackcurrants, Bing cherries and a hint of bilberry and blue fruit. The old pencil adds a touch of nostalgia and oak shines in the cedar, sandalwood and clove spice. Acidity sucks at the side of the palate which is lengthened by the intensity of fruit fruit flavors. Tannins and a plume of fine powder and all to the satisfaction of the drink. Another wine of quality and value, drinking well now with any chewy beef curd like flank. This still has another 8-12 years to develop, I'd suggest buying at least 6.
