Spiced white nectarine, lime leaf and a faint whiff of Golden Delicious apple on the nose. The palate is restrained, chalky tension reins in the flavours, leaving a chewy trail on the finish. This feels like it wants to be bigger and riper, yet it's being held back. A pleasing savoury finish

A single vineyard wine coming from the Farmers Picnic Vineyard near Colbinabbin in the north of the region. The vines are close planted to help provide protection for the grapes from the sun. This wine is grown and harvested to capture freshness and aromatic intensity. The wine is then fermented in both barrel and stainless steel to develop roundness whilst also maintain freshness. 6 months on full yeast lees prior to any sulphur being added.
Pale yellow in colour. Aromas of lemon, orange rind are immediately apparent. Flavours of citrus sherbert, blood orange, grilled peach, a touch of honey with a minerally finish. The acidity is well integrated thanks to the barrel ferment and 6 months on yeast lees. 11.4% Vol. Drinking well now and will develop over the next 15 years. Best serving temperature of 6-8°C.
