96 Points James Halliday
From the two original chardonnay blocks plus plantings from 2013 featuring newer clonal material. Barrel fermented in barriques and puncheons (30% new) and zero mlf. Brightly coloured. Complex with terrific fruit purity in the form of perfectly ripe orchard fruits and with just a hint of matchstick, too. Gentle, slatey and persistent, as good as it is now, this is also a keeper and will continue to blossom over the next few years. Drink 2022 - 2027.
