Dense purple-red; the bouquet is enormously rich, with chocolate and prune fruit woven through dense oak. The palate is exceptionally rich, dense and succulent; somehow or other, the tannin and oak levels have been kept under control. A great example of the Henry VIII red wine style. Drink to 2016.
