92 Points James Halliday
Eddy Waechter. Medium to full red-purple; gently ripe but intense chocolate and earth fruit aromas are surrounded by positive but not excessive vanillin American oak on a fragrant bouquet; overall, the wine is quite tangy with lemony/smoky oak and red fruits merged on the mid-palate, finishing with quite pronounced tannins. A high-class wine which will age well. Drink to 2012.
