Cynics may ask if the 1996 Shiraz Seven Acres will ever develop complexity, but it has not faded at all, and still seems as fresh as it was when it was first released. . It possesses an opaque purple color as well as a beautiful nose of sweet blackberries, licorice, and flowers, a massive mouthfeel, and greater definition and elegance than I remember in its exuberant, fruit bomb, youthful stage.
