95 Points James Halliday
Medium red-purple; fresh berry fruit with touches of blackcurrant and a touch of slightly raw oak still integrating on the bouquet gives relatively little hint of the marvellously vibrant palate, with fine, cool-grown fruit characters, avoiding altogether the slightly sweaty/gamey characters sometimes coming from cool regions; silky tannins and subtle oak round off the wine. Drink to 2008.
