89 Points Robert Parker
This opaque purple-colored, concentrated Shiraz is aged in both American and French oak. Creme de cassis aromas emerge from this sweet smelling, rich, concentrated, full-bodied, dry red wine. There is plenty of cassis fruit, good spice, and a heady, moderately tannic finish. Still young, it requires 1-2 years of cellaring, and should keep for a decade or more.

94 Points James Halliday
Full, deep purple-red; the bouquet is quite overwhelming, with scented, spicy, exotic aromas tumbling out of the glass. The palate is no less rich and ripe with plum and cherry fruit still locked in arm-to-arm combat with the tannins. The rating is, to a degree, an article of faith. Drink to 2013.
