90 Points James Halliday
Medium to full red-purple; a solid, smooth bouquet with dark berry and chocolate supported by gently sweet oak, characters repeated on the palate which has plenty of fruit weight and sweetness offset by fine tannins and subtle oak. Top vintage. Drink to 2010.

There is a lovely balance to this mature wine. There is still some primary blackcurrant fruit characters running though the wine, but there are plenty of secondary notes of earth and cedar. A delight to drink. Drink in the next 1 to 5 years
