The 2002 Cabernet Sauvignon Dove Tail offers loads of creme de cassis characteristics intermixed with hints of toasty oak (it was matured in French wood for 20 months), cedar, and cassis. Medium to full-bodied with a spicy finish, it should be consumed over the next 5-8 years.

I was a little nervous considering price expectation for this wine. I was pleasantly surprised to find a perfectly reasonable Barossa Cabernet. Fruit is slightly over ripe but rich and dense and the tannins are nice and fine too. Good quaffer. Drink in the next 1 to 5 years
