91 Points Robert Parker
2009 Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon presents a deep garnet-purple color and an intense nose of kirsch, warm black currant, mint, chocolate box, cedar and bay leaf. The palate is very full bodied with very firm, chewy tannins and very high acidity. With 16.5% declared alcohol, basically the volume is turned up on everything and it's all a little disjointed at the moment with a long finish that shows the alcohol. I'm hoping this will all knit together with a few years in bottle and then my score will seem conservative, but for now I'm calling it as I see it. Drink it 2012 to 2018+.
