Ranked #75 of 138 2010 Shiraz from McLaren Vale
89/100
3.5 Stars
Huon Hooke
Deep purple/red colour; dark and stains the glass. Dusty oak high notes, some nutmeg and dried banana. Palate is big and loaded with meaty, fruity flavours, a touch disjointed, perhaps. The finish falls away and dries off fast.

Drink: 2012 to 2023
90 Points Robert Parker
Deep garnet-purple in color, the 2010 Woodhenge Shiraz offers delicate floral notes of roses and lavender over a core of blackberries, black cherries, mocha, baking spices and cedar. Firm, muscular and still relatively taut on the medium to full bodied palate, it has a solid structure of grainy tannins and crisp acidity and a long finish with a little vanilla and cedar poking through. Approachable now, it should drink best 2013 to 2018+.

92 Points James Halliday
