Huon Hooke
Medium to light brick-red colour, with an orangey tinge. The bouquet is developed and a little tired already, with a toasty oak aspect. A little raspberry. The palate is lean and light to medium-weight, lacking a little in intensity and depth. Tangy acidity. A fairly drying finish and aftertaste.

Light, bright clear red; the fragrant red cherry/berry aromas of the bouquet correctly signal an elegant palate, with a hint of fraises du bois (wild strawberries) and fine-grained tannins. Drink to 2018.
