Bright, clear crimson-purple; an immaculately made pinot, immediately reflecting the special qualities of the site, the age (40+ years) of the vines, and the great vintage; the flowery, perfumed red-berried bouquet leads into an exquisitely flavoured and structured palate, making the words 'elegance' and 'finesse' seem like cliches. This is a great pinot noir, even by the exalted standards of Mount Mary. Drink to 2027.
