Huon Hooke
Deep red colour with a good purple tint; the bouquet brightly berry-like with a patina of cedary oak. It's full flavoured and rich on the palate, its concentrated flavour backed by fine, soft tannins. This is a powerful, profound, seriously marvellous pinot. It's loaded with ripe fruit and charm and will only improve further with time. Excellent.

Sinewy and tannic. Smoky. Dry cherries. Sap. Beautiful lines of refreshing acidity. Has a juiciness but is built on tannin and acid more than it is on volume of fruit. Tannin draws impressively throughout. Drink to 2024.
