Deepish red colour with a purple tint and a definite peppermint, coconut, oak-driven bouquet. It smacks of very leafy cabernet which has been subjected to plenty of new oak. A sharply defined cool-climate cabernet which avoids green and underripe tannins. It's an elegant, stylish cabernet which has a future. Classy stuff.

A near perfect rendition of Coonawarra cabernet, blackcurrant the central pillar, herb, mint and earth nuances spread around that pillar simply adding complexity to a distinguished wine with a very long future ahead. Drink to 2032.
